About Us
Our AAMCO family started in 1996 when Doyle and Shanna Zollinger of Millville, Utah, purchased AAMCO from the previous owner. Doyle graduated from Utah State University in 1972 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Doyle and his wife, Shanna, have raised 4 children, Chad, Rick, Kurt, and Lesa. Chad and Kurt are here at AAMCO as our lead technicians. Chad is an ASE certified master technician. He and his wife, Wendy are raising 4 young children in College Ward, Utah. Kurt is also an accomplished technician with 12+ years of experience. Kurt and his wife, Jaime, are raising twin daughters and one son. Rounding out the AAMCO family of technicians are Devon and Jason Buttars. This father and son team have a combined 46 years here at AAMCO, with Devon recognized as one of the premiere transmission rebuilders in the region. Jason is also a highly accomplished, and is an AAMCO master technician. Finally, there is Alan Taylor, the customer service manager. Alan came to our family in November, 1996, from California. Alan and his wife, Deanna, are raising 4 sons, and reside in Smithfield, Utah. Alan says that the company motto, “Where our family serves your family”, is not just a saying, but is truly how he feels about his role as customer service manager.
